Ousatsu in Toba city, Mie prefecture, situated between Osaka and Nagoya and located at the tip of Ise-Shima National Park, is known as the town with the largest amount of ama divers, who can only be found in Japan and Korea. The Michelin Green Guide called Ousatsu "A town breathing the culture of the ama", awarding it one star.
Since a wealth of fruit of the sea such as spiny lobster and abalone are caught here many people come to Ousatsu to eat seafood.
At Resort Hills Toyohama Sorano-kaze, we offer all our customers a ship-shaped tray filled with sashimi. We also offer exquisite ingredients such as soft-shell spiny lobster and fan mussels, also called "the king of mollusks".
It only takes about a minute to get from the hotel to the beach on foot. Watching the ocean view from gusetroom, situated on high ground, will without a doubt make for wonderful memories.

The water at hot spring Syaguji is of the same quality as that of Sakakibara hot spring, which is named one of Japan's three most famous hot springs and has received high praise from Japanese hot spring fans as its water makes your skin beautiful. Enjoy hot spring water to your heart's content at our large bath, our guest rooms with attached outdoor baths, reservation-only outdoor bath "Tenku no Yu", and at women-only outdoor bath "Isobue no Yu".

The Ise-Shima region has been so well-known for its quality food, that it has offered ingredients to the emperor since ancient times. You can enjoy kaiseki cuisine prepared at our hotel from a multitude of fresh ingredients such as spiny lobster, abalone, sea bream, and mackerel. We also offer a wide selection of local sakes from Mie Prefecture.

The deity Ishigami, enshrined at Shimei Shrine, is the protector of ama divers, and is said to "Make just one wish made by a woman come true" (approximately 10 minutes on foot from our hotel.)

- Mikimoto Pearl Island
The world famous Mikomoto pearls were first cultured at this sacred place.
